Carabiners are an essential component of every rope suspension kit.

Aluminum connector with 2 action Twist Lock Sleeve.  We love the HMS Napik carabiners because their classic wide pear shape with a flat bottom make them perfect for rope or rings.   Lighter and more compact than typical oversized HMS carabiners.  Equipped with keylock/keynose style gate to prevent snagging on ropes. 

These twist style 2 action auto locking carabiners are ideal when you need a secure attachment point where you don't want to have to worry about any room for error. They require two hands to open for most people.  They are significantly less likely to be jostled open or for rope rub to slowly unscrew your screw lock carabiner.  A lot of people will use them for attaching hard points to straps/webbing or in semi-permanent installation applications.
